Crew who picked you up are a good way in. Or ask one of the operators of the training sims, they usually know their way around a program. Most of the one's I talked to were born outside the Matrix, but from what I've heard, if you've kept your skills you might give them a run for their money.

Touche. But compared to the machines, Hydra seems practically benign. These people consider themselves the last of the free humans. That responsibility probably takes priority over transparency.
That responsibility means they should be striving to be better than humanity used to be. They should be trying to be something worth saving instead of the kind of people who see their people as expendable, to be quietly sacrificed on the altar of their progress.
